Take A Look Around Our School

Here’s a Virtual Tour from the comfort of your own home.

Key Areas and Facilities

Main Entrance

When you enter school you may come through the main entrance. On the right hand side of the main entrance is our main hall – Kendall Hall. This is where we hold assemblies each week where we discuss important topics as well as where we can celebrate all your successes. Kendall Hall is also used for our drama and music productions.

Student Services

You might come to Student Services if you're feeling poorly, have forgotten equipment or if you just need to speak to a member of staff. This area is really useful for helping you sort any problems you may have.

Restaurant / Mayo Hall and Frankland Hall

Here you can buy a wide variety of food made on the premises, for example, at break; bacon sandwiches, toast and muffins and at lunch; sandwiches, soup, pasta pots, salad, jacket potatoes and a hot meal of the day. Our meal deals are great value for money - why not look at our sample menus to get an idea of what we have to offer.

Areas for Break/Lunch

We have two areas where you can eat your food; Frankland or Mayo Hall. We also have an all weather pitch (‘the redgra’) where you can go at break and lunch for some fresh air.

Learning Resource Centre (LRC)

You can visit our LRC at break, lunch and after school. It's a brilliant place where you can read, do homework, use the ICT facilities or play games.

Sports Facilities and Changing Rooms

We have lots of sports facilities that you'll use in your PE lessons and in after school clubs. We have a fitness suite, a sports hall and a 3G artificial pitch.

Let's Talk Zone.jpg

Let’s Talk Zone

This is our purpose-built, nurturing environment for pupils who require additional emotional support. In here we work with pupils who are struggling with their emotional and mental health for a variety of reasons. Once you come to Ossett if you or your parents think that you may need to access the Lets Talk Zone you should speak to your Pastoral Year Leader.
